To be more precise, IT project managers make a gross yearly “starting salary” of $120,000 at the 25th percentile, and $250,000 at the 95th percentile. This is according to the 2019 Robert Half Salary Guide released recently.

- Business Analyst: $80k to $180k
- Software Developer: $90k to $180k
- Data Scientist: $90k to $200k
- Solution Architect: $90k to $200k
- IT Manager: $125k to $200k
- Technology Risk Manager: $84k to $240k
- IT Director: $185k to $250k
- Program Manager: $200k to $350k
- Chief Information Officer: $250k to $500k
