Civil servants will get a year-end bonus of 1.75 months. See the just-released PSD announcement.
This includes 0.75 month for the Annual Variable Component (AVC) and 1 month for the Non-Pensionable Annual Allowance (NPAA). The NPAA is also known as the 13th month payment.
This 1.75 months’ bonus is awarded in addition to the mid-year AVC of 0.5 month and cash quantum of $250 already given out in July.
In other words, civil servants are getting a total of $250 + 2.25 months for the whole of 2011.
There are 76,000 civil servants in Singapore, according to the CNA news report.
Last year, civil servants got a total of $300 + 2.5 months + SVP of up to 1.6 months.
How much bonus are you getting for the whole of this year?
