All civil servants will get a total of 1.65 months of bonus at this year end, according to this PSD press release.

This bonus consists of the standard one-month NPAA (which is commonly called the “13th month bonus”) and 0.65 month of AVC.

Both the Non-Pensionable Annual Allowance (NPAA) and Annual Variable Component (AVC) will be paid in December.

Just like last year and the year before, this year’s bonus also has a minimum AVC payment, but set at a lower level of $1,100. This means low-wage officers will get at least $1,100 for their year-end AVC.

If you include this year’s mid-year bonus of 0.5 month, all civil servants will be getting a grand total bonus of 2.15 months for the entire 2015.

This is 0.15 month less than last year’s grand total bonus of 2.3 months, which was 0.2 month less than 2013’s grand total bonus of 2.5 months.
