A real estate agent is someone who serves as a middleman in real estate (or “property”) transactions.
A buyer’s agent will represent the home buyers. He will look for properties for sale that fit the needs and budget of his clients and also negotiate prices on his client’s behalf.
A seller’s agent (also called listing agent) will represent the home sellers. He will list the property for sale on a variety of media to attract buyers for his client, suggest practical fixes and improvements on the property to improve asking price, as well as negotiate price on his client’s behalf.
