Graduate Employment Survey 2015 (Published 2016)

The top degree programmes are yet again in law, medicine, business and IT.

In the top 10 of our latest Graduate Employment Survey ranking, business clinched a whopping 5 spots, law 3 spots, information technology 2 spots and medicine just 1.

(Yes, we count econs as a business degree, and yes, we double-count NTU’s Business and Computing as both business and IT.)

All the fresh graduates of the top 10 degree programmes earn an average gross monthly salary of more than $4k. The fresh lawyers actually make about $5k.

This is also the first year that Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) released its own GES survey results. Unfortunately, most of SIT’s degree programmes ranked at the bottom of the salary ranking table.

In terms of employability, Art Design & Media, Linguistics, Psychology and Music ranked at the bottom.

In total, 105 degree programmes were ranked this year.

Data used in this article are based on the 2015 Graduate Employment Survey Results consolidated and released by MOE today (2nd Mar, 2016). See also our GES ranking for the previous year.
