[Update: The bonus for 2017 year end has been announced.]
For 2016: All civil servants will get a total of 1.5 months of bonus at this year end (2016), according to this PSD press release.

Civil servants to get year-end AVC of 0.50 month. Lower-wage civil servants to get minimum year-end AVC of $900.

This bonus consists of the standard one-month NPAA (which is commonly called the “13th month bonus”) and 0.5 month of AVC.

Both the Non-Pensionable Annual Allowance (NPAA) and Annual Variable Component (AVC) will be paid in December.

This year’s bonus also has a minimum AVC payment for low-wage civil servants, set at $900. This means low-wage officers will get at least $900 for their year-end AVC.

If you include this year’s mid-year bonus of 0.45 month, all civil servants will be getting a grand total bonus of 1.95 months for the entire 2016.

This is 0.2 month less than last year’s grand total bonus of 2.15 months, which in turn was 0.15 month less than 2014’s grand total bonus of 2.3 months.
