Security Guard Makes 4k
February 21st, 2008And he’s only 28 years old. This puts him in the top 90% top 10% in his age group, according to Salary.sg’s benchmarking tool.
But Mr Dharambir the security guard is in the news for a different reason.
While having a drink with his friends, he boasted about his $4,000-a-month salary, and later got hit by one of them for being a show-off. This incident is reported in today’s Straits Times.
So next time you enter a building, say hello to the well paid security guards.

All those braggarts who said that they are earning $4,000 a month are very likely to be doing 24hours continuous shift to the detriment of their fellow colleagues. what they earn in salary will later be converted to medical bills for them. so, don’t be envious. GOD is fair.

i am a security guard – some of the comments here are very valid – (eg Al and jack)
Mr Dharambir could very well be an Operations Executive or an Operations Manager but going around bragging that you earn 4k a month is just asking for it, and he managed eventually to get some!
lemmi tell you that working 12 hours a day 6 days a week, will in the long run take it’s toll on anybody…
and on top of that many agencies don’t exactly play by the book…
i’ve said too much already…
